IMPORTANT NOTICE
After last night’s speech from the chancellor and the governments advice regarding the outbreak of COVID-19. I have come to a very tough decision that I will close White Hare Aggregates Ltd, Exact Mix Concrete from 12pm Saturday 28th March. I was hoping the Government would instruct us to do so as it is a very grey area, however I have made this decision based on the self-employed being treated and helped the same financially as the employed. Most of our customers are self-employed and are now being treated and helped the same, so I now feel this is the right decision to make.
We will still be open for essential and emergency collections from the Basildon yard, Monday to Saturdays as we supply local utilities companies. The staff who will remain working will remain un-furlonged as you can’t not work whilst on the Government Scheme.
This will be until further notice.
I would like to thank all my employees and customers for your help and understanding at this difficult time. I understand that our families and health are most important right now.
